To shape culture with good and noble ideas.
Born and raised in the Greater Vancouver area, I've watched its communities grow and change throughout his life. Ten years ago, my wife and I chose Burnaby to start a family and build a life with our son. What stood out to us was the balance Burnaby offered—a vibrant urban energy with community charm and seamless access to green natural spaces.
Over the past decade, I witnessed both the promise and the pressure facing Burnaby families. I understand parents who want quality facilities and a solid foundation for their children, as well as young adults struggling to build a future in an increasingly expensive region. I also see how rapid overdevelopment strains our community—leading to congested streets, neighbourhood tension, and the loss of local green space. These are the people and priorities that I am dedicated to representing.
With over 20 years of experience helping businesses create and grow their brands. I solved problems by bringing people together, turning ideas into action, and balancing creativity with practical solutions. As co-founder of Burnaby First, I'm ready to put that experience to work for the city I call home. I believe this city has everything it needs to thrive—and I'm inspired to bring my experience, energy, and commitment.
Good ideas require sound planning and fiscal responsibility from local government, ensuring Burnaby residents and businesses aren't overburdened by property taxes and rental increases—especially during these uncertain economic times. Despite the challenges ahead, I firmly believe in Burnaby’s potential, and I have never felt more inspired to make a meaningful difference.
